Please join us as Janet Best, Sr. Programmer/Developer with Capgemini, will cover an array of topics related to the "IOT" (Internet of Things).  The concept is simple:  multiple machines, devices and appliances, connected to each other through multiple networks (including the internet) to provide consumers and businesses with new services.  IOT currently connects billions of sensors and devices, such as consumer goods and industrial equipment, onto networks.  She will share examples of how this is already in our everyday lives and the future of where it is headed in the industrial world and your personal lives.  Note:  There will be some great points and thoughts for Facility Managers and associate members to take back to their work places.

During the July meeting we will also swear in our new IFMA Piedmont Triad Chapter officers.
